You put yourself through some crazy little projects don't you George? Haha.

I've resorted to the list a few times when wanting something to watch. I've never done it in a ritualistic manner though, I just search a whole heap of them and try to get the ones that take my fancy.

So I just counted them. I've seen 111/250.

Quite a few all time favourites in there: Shawshank Redemption, Silence of the Lambs, American History X, Léon, Hotel Rwanda, El Laberinto del fauno, Donnie Darko, V for Vendetta, every original Star Wars...mmm should be some good watches there. Be prepared for some odd and obscure watches too though lol.

Oh and I should't tell you where I managed to source many of the older ones, especially foreign. It sadly wasn't from Mum n Pop's video store.

Ahh, i started doing something similar a few weeks ago.
I noticed my GF hadnt seen alot of classic movies, eventhough she studied cinema at uni (discraseful i know).
They're mostly older movies, some classics, some a little more obscure or less fashionable. We've started to work our way through the list, and its been alot of fun watching these older movies again. Some arent as good as i remember, but many are even better.
My GF has found quite a few in those $9 DVD bargain bins, which isnt all that much more than rental prices.
Oh, and for something a biti mroe random, i've started to compile a list of every single movie i've seen in my life, haha... For some reason it's been very quick to compile so far, and im up to about 10 pages! =/
Goodluck with your challenge though!
